That's a keeper. The only thing that ruins it for me is the 1990's number plates. It would be so much better then plain plates imo.

Is a shame, there must be a meet either on the Impreza side or Evo which Ian half way in the spring we can both attend?

That would be fantastic mate, I'll have a look on SN the Spec C type RA forum (that would be a better place tbh) and I'll ask my friend who owns that blue S202 that was at your photo shoot mate.

Where are you again Ant?

Epic car matey :smile:

Any tips for buying a V or VI?

@Ant1

Like any other car that is getting on a bit, you need to buy based on condition and maintance, chassis inspection is the most important, if you get a car with any rust issues on the underside it will cost ££££ to put right.

Best thing you can do Is find a car you like, take it (at your cost) to a recognised Evo specialist for inspection. That way you cover your arse!

Is that a genuine TME RS? :hearteyes:

Any chance you'll want to part with it in January?

Sure is, under 10 in the U.K currently. Not decided what I'm doing with it next year so drop me a pm at the time and you never know :)

Who came out best mate?

Dunno, however it was pretty obvious they where set to favour the Scoobys from the off, you could tell.

I'm not going to take it seriously, every serious press review has always favoured the Evo so there conclusion would be void.

Ive always thought the evo was the more aggressive rally homologation over the two types of car.

Evo looks lovely... do you not fancy getting the TME sticker kit for it?

With the Evo Vs Impreza debate, i always found the best way to compare models in terms of performance is to watch the best motoring videos on youtube. The new age bug eye, blob eye limited edition runs seemed to do better than the Evo 7/8/9 on some occassion's, so it really is a split result which comes down to personal preference i guess.

Funnily enough just been browsing my car mags and came across this old Autocar test. Chris Harris was literally creaming all the way through it. 0-100mph in 10.4 seconds for £25k!!! Incredible. Your car is epic mate. Much want!!!

I saw an old Fifth Gear the other day from a couple of years ago, she drove an Impreza RB5 & said what it was worth, then she drove a TME Lancer & gave the price.. if only they could be had for that now!
