Fiesta ST & Focus RS

KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING !

Why move over to the right when you weren't going to overtake for another few hundred yards..?

Edit: Junction spot on the left :o

Is the third digit on the speedo 60? If you so you are doing over the speed limit anyway.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not against the law to undertake. The highway code discourages it, but it is legal. Slow moving traffic, as the white van was, permits an undertake.

Going off the speedo video in your other thread, it does indeed appear to me that at one point you are doing around 80mph. Very naughty indeed.

Lols. It was mearly cruising. ST looks quick mate.

Mark do you run that camera on every drive?

On my recent HGV lessons I was advised that moving into the right hand lane at junctions like that is bad practice.

Is that the a27 coming up to fontwell? You must be local to me then :D

Personally couldn't care less.

The fact he posted himself breaking the speedlimit on a worldwide outlet like YT is a bit perplexing.

Well considering the new course you can do how do you not know mark has the advance driving that allows you to do 80mph? =) trolol

Back in the real world people generally move out of lane 1 for HGV, he'd be there all day otherwise..

RS was 100% in the wrong. For 1, not noticing or not wanting to notice or choosing to ignore. And for 2, undertaking.. Sounded well though.

No comments on the fact that Mark is doing 80mph then? No?

Call the cops then?

Are me and Slammed172 really alone in thinking the RS driver was a complete and utter tool?

Can anyone say 'hazard perception'? No one else think that on any other day that could have been the end of that Focus?

Edit: and philmots.

Focus is 100% in wrong. I just think it is abit hypocritical when you are breaking the law yourself. Because trackday driver iirc.

Is it not that mark was having a bit of a play with the focus and the focus took it to the next level? Granted, it was a bit of a silly manoeuvre by the focus but Its not like he just drove past someone who had rolled it in a hedge or anything like that..

I'm not whiter than white. I regularly speed. I just think that Mark himself and a few others think the because of some advanced driving course, it allows him to pass judgement on other while breaking the law himself. Seems pretty dumb to me.

I couldn't care less how fast he drives everywhere. Just don't pass judgement on other people when he quite clearly regularly breaks the law himself.

Undertaking slow moving traffic is legal, but i wouldnt exactly say that mark and the van were going slow. I think that law is aimed at queues, rather than cars doing 50/60 in the fast lane!

Pretty stupid move by the focus imo. Undertaking at speed is a very dangerous game! What if the guy doesnt check his mirrors and shifts back into the lane?

I've never seen mark judge other people based on their driving ability.

Apologies if that's the case.

What's a fast lane? :S

Apart from sayin that said Focus RS driver is the reason for high insurance. But anyway.

I'm curious as to whether the Focus was already on the road before mark pulled on, or whether he was racing him before the video started.
