Fight with a fox on A303

  Clio 1.2 grande(V)
Hi guys we were doing the Cornwall to London run last week and a fox decided to run at us at (ahem) 70mph! Needless to say the fox lost, but the car took a bit of a dig too.

Something behind the bumper came loose and was dragging along the ground, some Bakelite looking black box with two hoses connected and some sort of plug.

Its not affecting the day to day running of the car, but what in gods name is it? Drivers side in front of wheel arch.

Any help much appreciated.

Ta!

  PH2 Flamer
Stores fuel fumes and either lets them out to atmosphere through tje charcoal filter. Or into the inlet again.

Makes for easy starting etc.
