Not torrents as i cannot use bittorrent (family router, dad won't let me forward ports) So at the moment i'm using Frostwire.

What do you guys use to download perfectly legal non copyright files in a peer to peer sense?

I use Rapidshare now.. There are a lot of good legal non copyright files on that.

Never had one here.

You just need a AV Software/Firewall etc and watch what you download, also look for links which have already been downloaded by others and Ok'd.

people say that about limewire etc. if you keep an eye out then your gonna be fine eg downloading a music album that is 345kb in size is going to be a virus

Just use newsgroups.. fast, relatively anonymous and secure.

Agreed. P2P sucks. Legally you're on thinner ice (were you to unwittingly download an illegal file), and morally, the upload traffic clogs up the networks and f***s it up for everyone.

I only use trusted sites and the stuff I download is legal. My upload speed is shite anyway so I doubt it will affect most.
