filling an exhaust cut out in a bumper?

whats the best way of going about this?
would like to do it in the least bodge way as possible.. only thing i can really think of so far is mesh behind it then build the hole up with fibreglass somehow?
any tips?

mesh would be an option...as its plastic you cant weld a metal piece in

why didn't i think of that

the cars going in to the paintshop anyway, so me repairing it just leaving it needing paint saves me the cost of a bumper.

Then thats the way, if it's going for a respray anyway buy Matta's, he's got one in Nautical blue for sale for £25.

You know you can actually plastic weld?

Works every time and is perfect. All you need to do is find a company who does it.
Got my sideskirts done as they had a huge hole in them and they came back perfecto.
