Had a ph1 172 for 8 months, had a tdc sensor changed at btm springs at 519 and cambelt at k-tec. And a map corrected by k-tec as tdf from what I believe Didn't map correctly


What amazes me is how you are all a bunch of sheeps that follow why not spend less time kissing ass and more time having your own opinion, by reading through the majority of threads you can pick out the small minority of you that go round ruining threads with your arguments over who is better what a load of s**t

Fcuk off you belter. How can you possibly comment on any garage after having such remedial tasks carried out. A (badly) trained monkey can change the springs on a clio. How have you come to the conclusion that 519 is a better garage than TDF's??

(I'm no sheep, and I don't use any of the places mentioned, have no personal preferences so find another argument.)

I am also not implying any of the mentioned garages are better/worse than the others as i've not used them for anything other than advice.

The amount of times a RS Clio has been taken to a so-called decent garage, only to have them f*ck up something
that should be simple for a half decent mechanic such as a cambelt change.

So to be a member of a club with a traders section full of garages that can sort your car out without ruining it is a f*cking godsend TBQFH.

The original SC conversion mapped by Andy at K-Tec was 30 bhp short of its full potential after TDF looked at it.

Anyone can tell you the maps crap especially a parts distributor turned "tuner"

I think you'll find, Ghostedition, that a lot of people on here patronise the traders who post on Cliosport because they are genuinely nice people, honest and helpful.

I've had help from some guys on here, whether it be by e-mail, text message, phone or by popping in to their respective garages on spec.
To call the forum users and members on here 'sheep' is a little naiive, a lot of us have many years experience of guys such as Fred @ BTM, and have knowledge of their work first hand.

Check the post counts, thousands, not 5.

No harm in doing a little homework, see who's rated by the users, there's no advantage in sucking up.
If a lot of people say a certain garage is good, then theres a good chance that more and more people will try them.

Your argument just didnt come across very balanced.

So who is this decent garage then? Never had anywork done by the ones you have mentioned but have spoke to Fred and Danny a few times, very helpful taking in to consideration I was only after advice. I give this maybe four pages tops as you are obviously picking an argument.

I have a very outgoing life.

I've found my decent garages that I use, only for cambelts and mapping, I'll do everything else myself. I've been to a fair few and had horror stories and bad jobs on my cars.

You stay with you unknown decent garage but it'll probably soon backfire on you.

Still convinced troll with a double account.

I've just googled and the only one on the first page was K-Tec and a load of shitty clios with body kits

I'd rather search Clio Specialist on a Clio forum, tuning is a widely used named from about ten years ago, it's going to bring up a lot of s**t on google
