Finally fully lowered!

Well I fianlly had time this weekend to get tmy front V-maxx on. Did the rears a couple of weeks ago which was piss easy but the fronts I stuggled with as couldnt undo the top mount :( So used the airgun at work to undo it this week and fitted them yesterday. A pic of it before lowered apparently 30mm on eibach springs..

And now with V-maxx fitted.

This was it last night down at 50mm left but I had trouble with a couple of speed bumps so took it up another 10mm this morning.

Wound fully down at the rear (might take out the rear adjuster for an extra 10mm) and wound down to about 60mm on the front now (60mm from the bottom adjuster ring to a flanged mark on the strut)

HAd a bit of an accident though involving a slipping jack/axle stand and sill :(

It slipped as I was putting the axle stand under, well thats a lie the jack slipped and the block I was using snapped in half and the car came down about 30mm onto the axle stand :( As you can see its pushed out the skirt slightly as this is what it should look like..

New skirt I think when I can be arsed. Just my luck really but f**k it.

Overall really impressed with the V-maxx..ride is not crashy like the eibachs at all :) ight have to take it up another 10mm in a week or too after it settles. I do want the rear slightly lower though..any ideas?? custom springs?? Will removing the adjuster give it a bit more??

Looks good but having done the really quite low stance I really would recommend going for a lowered but not loooow stance,

I think you must have been on Apex before fella as Laura is on Eibach and its such a lovely ride.

How soft are the springs on the Vmax? Id guess they're soft so when it comes to track days it will be far too low!

Looks awesome for normal use though :D

They are quite hard I think It certainly doesn't lean or wobble as much round tesco roundabout at about 60 now ;)

I had no problems when running Vmaxx at Cadwell. Mine is set slightly higher at front but back is the same.

I wouldnt take out the adjuster mate, I just put mine back in which only puts it up around 5-6mm really, not overly noticable on mine, but now the rear springs dont fall out when both wheels are off the ground... Also it doesnt constantly hit on the bump stops now!! Strange though as one side of mine seems to be slightly lower than the other :/
