Finally got HD

Had my Samsung HT-Q100 DVD player for a week and just took delivery of my Samsung LE32R88D TV, connected the relevent cables... changed the HD setting to 1080i and wow!!!!

DVD's look so crisp and thats only with upscaling, shame it doesnt actually support HD DVD's, i can only imagine that they are seriously mint. Shame about sky, makes me want sky HD now :evil:

Either way i cant belive i didnt have this sooner, just need to get the Component for the Wii and then im sorted for now. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

I think the wii is only 480p. You need to get yourself some 1080p pumping through it then you will be amazed !

If you're after Sky HD mate, nows a good time to go for it, we had to pay £300 for the box, they're offering it half price at the moment.

Live football in HD is the dogs b****cks.

Yeah it is, bought the cable today... slight difference over RCA cables.

Shame the audio ones dont stretch to far, had to attached some extended audio wire to the DVD
