Finally Some Pictures...

Had my car about 5 months now, a few of you have seen it at meets but i thort id upload some pictures...

Ive managed after alot of time effort and trouble to get an exact match for my color coded bumpstrips and door handles.

I plan to do alot of sensible mods to the car in the near future, ideas are very welcome

mynes a 1.6 nice init ...............................











but does get slow after a bit

yeah its a really pain to match, its pot luck with just using the paintcode, my doorstrips and handles are a good match but my bumper seems a little blue where it meets the wings in some light / angles. its hard to match silver at the best of times but this is worse as its not really one colour, in different light the car changes from a very light blue to a dark grey

make sure you get genuine clear repeaters, their much much better than the after market ones that leak and let dirty water in!

id slam it on coilovers and wouldn't have put the window stickers there id have put them right down the bottom of the window but thats just me

this is the 1.6 thats as fast as a 182 isnt it? special one

James - what did you use to colour code the bumper strips etc - Im wanting to do mine but no idea what I need to get, where to get it and how to do it, advise welcome:approve:

if you do it yourself you will need 1 - 2 cans of grey primer, 1-2 cans of paint (may need to get the colour mixed using your paint code see www.auto-paint.co.uk), 1-2 cans of laquer and a mix of sandpaper (probably 240grit, 800grit, 1200grit).

or you can take it to a bodyshop like james did
