fire extinguisher and quick release boss

i suppose this falls under this category more than any other...

trying to choose between a plumbed in mechanical extinguisher by either lifeline or SPA, not sure what size i should be going for? anybody got experience?

also should i be buying a hand held aswell, as i have heard the plumbed in systems can fail or be useless at times

also after a quick release boss, again these 2 companies are my choice, not after a £20 special from taiwan! would be the grp N type, that bolts to the aftermarket boss, don't want a weld on. got to be 6 holes aswell. anybody bought one or have experience with either company?

at the minute i am leaning towards lifeline

i've a 1.75l Lifeline handheld that i'll mount on the rear seat base behind me for sprints and whatnot. they 'should' be serviced at certain intervals btw (mine's expired; need to check that out)

are you competing in a series that requires a plumbed system or is it just for safety's sakes?

iv had a good look into this and chats with a few people

its either lifeline zero 2000 4L system or the Zero 360 2.25kg which i think have the same sort of fire stopping power. massive price differences between the 2 altho the zero 360 was really cheap before xmas it seams to have shot up in price now.

I couldnt decide between manual or electric, electric might be best for fastroad/track car because it can be turned off, but then u can also lock the bottle on a manual one!

Iv given up and just not gettin one for the time being

^ lol

i have been looking into them since before xmas and there are a fair few options to choose from

lifeline zero 360 is too expensive for me, so i have been looking at the 2000, but whats the difference between the normal lifeline mechanical systems and the 2000 systems (apart from being msa approved)

oh and i've decided on manual, i have enough wires running through the car as it is lmao

right i have decided (i think lol)

going for the club fire marshal (entry level system, which will be routed into the engine bay, and a hand held for the c0ckpit area.

as for the quick release, going for a lifeline GRP N bolt on. although the MOMO has just caught my eye in the tweeks catalogue lol
