FireFox 3 not working???!!

ANyone else downloaded the new Firefox and found that it just wont find any webpage??? im sick of going back to Internet Explorer !!

Just get the failed to connect page :S been using for agges but it updated yesterday and not been working since :S

Sounds like you've got a software firewall installed and because the exe has been updated the firewall is blocking FF from the net hence it can't find any websites.

re-installed Firefox and turned my firewall off and still nothing :S

It's your firewall then. Even though you think you've disabled it it's still active in the background.

IIRC norton doesn't get along with firefox.

not had it for a while but you need to mess around with the firewall settings and allow mozilla firefox to use the interweb

Good spot with the Norton thing. Defiantly the cause of the problem.

Yer well my norton has been off for months lol hated it so went back to windows so just uninstalling Norton see if that helps Thanks for help Griff
