Firefox 3 - Spell checker ?

Prior to upgrading to version 3 i used to have a spell checker that worked as i typed. Very similar to the way in which word works, the thing is now that i have upgraded to version 3 i have lost this add on.

I have no idea where i got it from in the first place though, any one able to help me out ?

I would answer your question but I have no idea what you're trying to say as the spelling is terrible...

It's built in, not an addon.

Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General Tab

Tick "check my spelling as I type"

Then right click in a text box like the quick reply and make sure that "Check Spelling" is ticked.

All done , but if a deliberatttly type something wrong it does not put a red line under the word thats spelt wrong like it did when i had version 2.

I've done all that (and yep, I'm in v3), but don't get a "Check Spelling" bit when I right click in a text box and it isn't checking my spelling.

Just give this a go...

On this forum:

User CP -> Edit Options -> Scroll to the bottom and choose Standard Editor if it isn't already, save changes and see if it works now.
