I used to be able to click both of my touchpad buttons at once to open a link in a new tab.

have re-installed and it doesn't work

Just hold down shift and click, probably just as easy and quick.

ah ha... sorted it. it was in my mouse settings, both buttons wasn't set to be click both in the Touch pad settings.
