First DSLR shots at night

Took out the SLR for the first time at night today. Still a long way to go to improve the shots I know, too much grain going on with the background. Mabye need a better lens. Comments and tips welcome.

drop the ISO setting to its lowest, you had it set at 400 for those pics, set it too 100 to reduce grain

if using iso 100 get a tripod as you'll need to shutter open longer to get enough light in!

nobble- they are PIAA jobbies, £50 a pair, expensive for sidelights I know, but I only give her the best!

cheers alan, i think next on the list has to be a pc polisher. get rid of the swirls then get tuning!

I have a Megs G220 Polisher - basically the same thing without an inverter heh, and it's the bestest thing ever I love the feeling of satisfaction I get after taking loadsa swirls out hehe.

Good shots, like your carbon bonnet.
