Fook £50!!!!!!. I hate PC'ing. Give fantasic results, but its very slooow and with the noise and vibraton, very tiresome. We charged £100 for a day on a BMW 1 series. It takes a good day or so imo to get rid of marring etc. That said, results are impressive :)

You think £50 is expensive?

I am happy with the results, and it's still gleaming after about 50 miles today!!

Wolf, pm me please, I completely forgot about all that stuff!

I think what Gaz is saying is that £50 is very cheap, fair enough if you enjoy it but I certainly wouldn't get my pc out of its box for £50 its ball ache keeping on top of your own car let alone other peoples!

I'd be happy with £50 for purely the PC'ing and waxing. As long as the car comes ready washed etc.
Obviously I'm still a novice though so can;t charge the earth, plus it's a bti of extra cash in the back pocket for me!

I can't be bothered to do other people's cars for cheap, it takes a long time and would never do a half-baked job. Annoys me when people say "give it a quick polish" - because there is no point doing it unless you do it properly.

Anyway good work Pepsi, I found the first PC on my car made a big but not 100% improvement, second time got it how it should be.

Having said that even treating the car like it is made of glass you will still get some marks and they will stand out more because most are gone. My advice though is not to polish it every time you see one otherwise the clearcoat will be a goner before too long for a heavier polish. A polish with SRP or similar though will bring it up a treat!

Loads better, a sport grill on it would really make a difference, cheap too.

I've toyed with the idea a few times to be honest, including some other bits like colour coding, but I'm taking the plunge and getting a 172 in July when my insurance is 'only' £1800, just purely to have a bit more fun in a car before it becomes impossible to have fun! So for now the car will stay as it is, no point wasting the money.

Thanks for the good comments.

Jesus I remember those days. When I first got the 182 insurance was £2234. Crazy amount. Then it dropped to 1500, then 997, and now its 860 for the year!

Car looks great matey.

I charge 50 for a clay, polish, and wax. 70 if I've got to travel just to cover expenses. Theres a thread of a Gallardo I cleaned in the detailing section. :D

Tol be honest, I though £50 was too much and was expencting to be bartered down, but I'll leave it at that price then!

Didnt rain after no, had some nice beading this morning though! Still looks gleaming clean after about 100miles too, I'm well impressed!

thing is, if £50 is cheap I'll have plenty to do, then can get the prices higher when I think people will pay it!!
