First long trip....

After owning the 172FF for just under a month,it was taken on its first long journey today.Travelled from Darlington to Falkirk and back(400 miles), only stopping to pick up a passenger at Falkirk.Gotta admit,they are great little cars for journeys as well as round the doors.Had a few plays with various cars on the way up and was really surprised at how many times i seemed to leave cars trailing which were trying to play with me.It just ate the miles and seemed to cruise at speed without any effort....Seen a fair turn of speed in it too and i thought it felt really stable..I aint going to post the speed i hit on here but lets just say, i seen the shift light come on in 5th and it pulled a bit more...Really pleased with the car after the journey today and im looking forward to doing the journey again on Monday...

i regularly travel from north wales down to hertfordshire... love the long journeys. I actually look forward to them lol, how sad is that

Best part is annoying merc/bm/and the odd audi driver lol

Never had the shift light on in 5th though... and ive had it at 140ish
