i didnt realise this much could be gained from mods like that!

what sort of cost wise you reckon to get to that fred?

How did you get the cam cover, inlet and fuel rail guard so clean Fred?

shot blast and painted? If so which type of paint did you use?

just cleaned them down to get all the oil and crap off them (having a parts washer makes it much easier!)

then whacked VHT paint on them (very high temp) takes a few heat cycles to cure, and is quite easy to mark with grubby hands, but easy to fix again if you do

Just want to add something to the thread(even though nobody has been in here for a couple days), this is actualy my car. will say the quality of the work is second to none, it looks a new engine, there is no other way of putting it. The performace it has gained was alot more then i ever expected, the delievery is brilliant and is very quick.

very impressed and would say Fred has done the best possible job here

Fred, is there a way of telling if the tiiming is out? I.e someone has not used the correct tools?

yes, it involves basically re inserting the renault timing tools into the engine and seeing if they line up correctly, no biggy, probably about 1 to 2 hours of *****ing about
