What is the first service for a 182...Im currently arguing this with a friend of mine.

And it should cost £134.................cause thats what it cost for my V6..............that includes £44 + vat for the oil.

I was wrong then thought it was 6000 then 1200!!!

I think "some" cars had 6k safety checks but this was either stopped or doesnt apply to the Sport models.

They all used to have the safe check but Renault stopped it.

Im not saying anything about cost cutting.

Think 6K is for diesels. Just got my 12K service quoted at £170

All new shape Clios (sport excepted) have 18k/2yrs servicing. The 172/182/V6 are 12k/2yrs. They all used to have a free 6k check.

Not a bad price that though.

Id hate to think how poor Id be with 6k servicing Id have my own chair at Renault.

I only paid £90 for my first service on a 172 CUP! That was an oil change and new filters. all genuine Renault parts, and Shell Optimak oil, goes like stink now!

Mine is booked in for its 6k safety check. 6400 miles in two months, thats not bad going is it. But im keeping the car for ages so im not that bothered about the milage.

Some dealers still do the safety check, but its not on the Renault schedule. OK if its free I suppose.
