First time engine build

  Kangoo 182
Ok so I have purchased a ph1 172 engine for £50 and my plan is to rebuild build it from the sump up, but I’ve never done it before, so what recommendations would you give for a first timer?

Also where would be the best place to get parts ( just going for a standard engine with group n timing)

Thanks in advance

Hello pal. Firstly I would get everything stripped fully cleaned and measured using micrometer. Measure the crank are in tolerances also. Could get the block honed and pressure tested.

Bearing wise that will depend upon your measurements, pure motorsport, engine dynamics, ktec, renault parts direct do them all.

Alot of good guys on here for advice.
