Went down to Bournemouth today, sadly the weather was very dull/foggy so the pics are a little flat, but I took the new lens for a spin (Nikon 10.5 Fisheye and Sigma 20mm 1.8) and had lots of fun trying them out.
Obviously there are far more fisheye shots than I would normally want to take, but as it's new I wanted to learn how to use it properly and therefore used it almost all day. All shots are straight from camera in terms of perspective, no correction or anything applied.
Nikon 10.5, ISO200, AP @ f8
Sigma 20mm, ISO200, AP @ f3.2
Sigma 20mm, ISO200, AP @ f2.8
Nikon 10.5, ISO800, AP @ f4
Nikon 10.5, ISO800, AP @ f2.8
Nikon 10.5, ISO400, AP @ f2.8
Nikon 10.5, ISO400, AP @ f8
Nikon 10.5, ISO400, AP @ f8
Sigma 20mm, ISO200, AP @ f4
Sigma 50-150 2.8 @150mm, ISO400, AP @ f2.8
Nikon 10.5, ISO400, AP @ f8 (I tried the 20mm at the exact same spot, managed to just get 4 of the huts in the frame)
Quite surprised at how much you can control the fisheye effect by moving around / changing perspective etc, I tried to get a normal ultra wide shot of the Pier and it seems to have worked pretty well. It's also silly sharp, easily up there with the 50mm 1.8.
Another thing, I looked very odd using it! Stood right up against objects photographing them (the lens was pretty much in the sand for that first shot) and not to mention bumping into things!
