Fitted my ITG Filter...

  182, SRT8, RS4, GT-R
Hi Guys/Girls,
Fitted my ITG panel filter tonight, dropped the screws to the airbox several times and always down the tighest gap, lol. Next up is the Hill Power bend, had a good look around the engine, god its such a small area to work in! The standard air feeds look crap tbh so they'll need to be improved too soon.
Nothing special really just thought i'd show the panel etc...

Looks good.. on first impressions would you recomend upgrading the panel filter?

I have one aswell!
Noticed someone has fitted the elbow to the standard airbox on here before. Does this help much or would it be on the "looks" side of things?

its for looks only really.

I'd say looks and a little better breathing. If you look at the OE pipe it has wrinkles in it,this distorts the airflow which can't be a good thing, having a silicone bend which is smooth will help. A few people have experimented with 45 degree bends and not the usual 90 degree bend.
The silicone bend along with a good panel filter and good air feeds will make a difference.

yeah there are deffo worth the price....
deffo evans out the air flow...with a much smoother response.

yep same filter as mine. You need to be careful with those screws lol.

I changed the standard paper filter to itg filter after 2 weeks of having the car, but in those 2 weeks I was only going steady runninng it in. So I wouldn't notice a difference? :S

I lost a screw down god knows where when doing this same mod (was it a tight fit by the way, I had trouble fitting the filter in the space available), I ended up getting a coathanger, straightened it out and put uber-stong packing tape on the end of it, routed around a bit and amazingly the screw came up stuck to the tape!
