fitted new lights :) then BANG hit a problem

Fitted my new standard MK2 Ph2 rear lights for clio, very happy with them. Until I checked the rear right one and when you press break all the lights on that side dim and indicator light comes on. Does anyone know what can I do to solve this?

poor earth, check nd clean the connectors and make sure earth is good

checked it all now works fine thanks . I seem to have a dodgy left fog light, sometimes it will work sometimes it wont :/ could this be same problem,
