thats exactly what im tryin to sort at the moment. I have 16s (195/45/16 tyres) on a 1996 1.2 (same body shell) and they scrub on the back if u have one fat git in the back or go over a bump quickly. I am going to lower mine bout 40mm very soon but the best thing you could do is get the back arches rolled at a place like r-tec (<A target=_blank href= "
http://www.r-tecautodesign.comwww.r-tecautodesign.com) or get the grinded at a local bodyshop and sealed. The front arches are plastic so can be cut to how u want them very easily. best thing to do is get a low proile rubber as well such as 45 or 40 if u can source it?!
the car WILL scrub with 16s on and lowered if you dont get your arches sorted in some way! (some ppl get scrubbing on 15s - ask daz!!)
