fitting a bmc

just recieved my bmc and the caf that came with it doesnt seem to bend much ( its an ally one) i was gonna replace it for a longer one eventually so was just wondering has anyone fitted it with the standard caf

i already orderd one other wise i would of mate. would i be able to run it without the caf until i order a better one and where can i get one from.

Yeah you can run it without the CAF mate. I only have mine pointing at my BMC sometimes.

I got this CAF and its top notch... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300231465369 Really strong plastic but still easily bendable. Just have to get the correct size for your BMC.

Ran mine without a CAF for a while, sounded horrible though!

Mine needed 80mm CAF.

Has anybody else experienced stuttering at low revs since fitting?..... i.e doing 30mph in 4th so revs under 2k, then put your foot down and my car seems to kangaroo/lurch up the road until the revs rise over 2k???

I made one using 3 inch guttering. But that chav bay one for £10 looks bang on. Have you taken out your N/S fog light?
