Fitting a Ripspeed DVD/MP3/CD headunit

Hey im having a few problems fitting my new dvd headunit, so many wires an not much room lol. It will go in if i tuck all the wires down the sides but i cant do this with the headunit hanging out. Jst wondering if any1 knows how i can get the the wires wiv the headunit in. ???

mate just keep pushing them, it will go in eventually its a nightmare tho, is it the one which holds in with 4 screws?as i did one the other day was piece of piss, just push the isos and video leads to the bottom, sides of the hu hole

Remove the controls for the heater, that should allow you to get your hands up behind it and pull the wires down while you push the headunit in from the top.

Yeh it is the one with the 4 screws is the fuse boz im having problems with cant get to it to push it down coz the wires arnt long enough.

How do i remove the heater controls. Not had a clio that long u c lol

Thanks to Mike@rentech for the excellent advice on removing the dash.

It was as easy as what he said it was a within less than half an hour the dash was in pieces. :S:S:S:S

There isn't a lot of room behind the dash but should be enough to manouver the wires.
