Fitting B&M Sport Shift

any one fitted a B&M Sport Shift to a 1.4? if so i need some tips i am having some trouble

what you need. Get it on a ramp. Remove heat shield. Remove circlip and bolt at the botom and onto the linkage. And it'll literally drop out.

I didn't even need to cut the knob off.

i got that far but when u remove the heat shield u have a ring underneath u have to squeeze togther but i have tried everything to remove it but it just keeps springing back into the plastic sheild again

also how would the lift up reverse bit work if its got no hooks on the aliminumn one?
