you're asking way too big a question to get a single answer. Read the K3 manual, buy a multimeter, then come back and ask specific questions when you have specific issues and you'll get help.

I mean it was a pretty wide question, was it a wiring diagram you were after? pin numbers? sensor questions? how to wire something? etc etc

These are some of the easiest systems about to install and get your car running on a base map. Knowing Dave and Carl @ Emerald personally they will also be only to happy to help you out over the telephone with general setup and installation questions but the manual from there website is nothing short of excellent and not only comes with the easiest of wiring examples I've seen but also good write ups on how to do the job right, why you need certain types of wiring, etc so I suggest you download it and read it fully (and they're aimed at people like yourself rather than experienced electronic fitters).

As Danny said, buy yourself a decent digital multimeter from somewhere like Maplins (Along with some other bits of DIY kit such as soldering iron, cable strippers and heat shrink tubing, in various sizes)... you should be spending no more than £30 for one at your level/needs. You might need to set yourself up some basic relay controlled circuits for the K3 such as fuel pump, radiator fan control as the standard Clio II setup is ECM controlled and I'm assuming you're going to be "doing away" with this?

DO NOT use "twisted and taped" connections as they're a bodge which will be an incident waiting to happen and the same goes for s**tty scotch-locks!!!! Use decent soldered connections only, take your time to think about the task at hand such as where you're going to mount the unit, how the wiring is going to be cabled to the various outputs/inputs and you'll be right. Most importantly of all, If in doubt, ASK for help!
