Fitting fog lights, please help me :(

  172
Hello,

I have just got a set of 16v bumpers for my MK1 phase 2 clio. My current bumpers are black plastic and have no fog lights. I bought a front fog light switch from ebay and have just fitted it. After removing the blanking switch to fit my fog light switch, i noticed there was a plug, i take it this is for the fog lights? I have plugged it in, the switch doesn't illuminate and the light on the dash doesn't come on. I checked the fuse box under the bonnet to see if a fuse needed putting in, there is no fuse where it says fog lights, but there are no contacts on the fuse holder? So the fuse just kind of sits there, doing nothing?

Has anyone tried fitting fogs before, i'm not sure what to do now?

Thanks

I have finally got colour coded bumpers and fog lights on the car. All you need is a relay and the fog light switch, plug and play. Everything is ready wired all you need to do is plug it all in and it will work!!

having the same probs with my missus's mk1 phase 2 front fogs. what is the relay bit and where does it go? I have the fogs with mouting brackets, etc and they have the grey connectors attached with some loose wire and I'm getting a switch ASAP.
