Fitting front springs

Going to be fitting some new front springs tomorrow. I know the basics, but I'm not sure how tight to do up the nuts on the strut. Iirc there's two? One on the top mount to remove the strut and the other that holds the spring on the strut.

How tight should these be done up? And is it necessary to hold the middle bit of the strut at the top when tightening the top nut up?

Nip both up. Neither need to be mega tight, just tight enough that they're not going to spin off.

Either way, the weight of the car holds it all together anyway.
