fitting my de-cat? help!

rite i have my decat and 2 new gaskets plus all the nuts and bolts. but what else do i need? do i need to use that paste stuff to make a seal? just wondered as i seen an exhaust place using it. has any1 done it themselves b4?

I fiited mine a few weeks ago mate, i even used to old gaskets lol, jst make sure you tighten the blots as hard as u can... should be fine like that

i did mine couple of days ago, used all the original bolts and things, you should use the zosrt paste 2, i did and mine is all good.

so wat do u do with the paste where do u put it?

the flange face's (the bit were the two bolt together)

so rub it on each face then put a gasket between them and bolt it up?

I just used the old gaskets on mine but put plenty exhaust paste all round the join and I've had no problems. Make sure you have new bolts to use for putting it back on. It migh be easier to just cut the old ones off if they are being a bugger.

Where can i get some new gaskets from, are they specific or universal?

You could get a new gasket from renault. As I say I just used the old one with plenty exhaust paste and it was fine.
