Fitting new door card speakers help

Just got myself some:
Alpine SXE-1325S


I am an audio noob so bear with me...the box says they don't need an adapter to fit them into the clio yet the connection seems different.

Here are a few pics to help explain what I mean;

New speaker connection

Guessing I need an adapter? Or can I cut the old one off and just use the bare wire?

cut of and use speaker terminals by no adapter it means to make the speaker mount

Should the tweeters on the dash be disconnected? I am guessing they should be going by the speakers I put in, how do I disconnect those dash tweeters?
