Fitting Springs

What drop should I go for (ie is 40mm too much for everyday use) and how much do places charge to change the 4 springs on average

about 60-80£, um i got 40 when settled looks more i have eibach pros and is very nice ride compared to my mates apex
 
£40~80 to do depnds if thats chash what type of garage and if trackings done etc

Drop depends what suspension your using springs alone 40 is fine.

do you have any knowledge of fitting anything to your car,doing it yourself may take a while but its worth the effort for the extra money saved :)

Do it yourself, all you need is a jack and a few diff spanners or sockets. took me about 2-3 hours 1st time. But reckon you could do it in half that if you done it before.

I'm more electrical than mechanical tbh and for £50 i'd rather have the piece of mind that it was done correctly
