  Half stripped mk2 172
I used to drive in fixed back buckets everyday, and tbh i prefer them over the standard ones, Vince

i do 20K a year, and i survive ok

Have you got fixed runners or tilt and slide jobs ?? What seats have you got if you dont mind me asking Fred??

From what ive heard the 172 seats are really heavy so was thinking of ditching them for some light weight ones. Just dont want to make the car a pain, literally, lol, to live with.

i've got Cobra Suzuka Technologys (carbon fibre), sub 5kg each!!!!

fixed to the floor, not slide (which is pointless IMO becuase only i ever drive it)

I tried driving my Williams every day for a bit.
Never again I guess the suspension didn't help but they were uncumfortable then again they were cheap seats and I have a bad back.

i use mine every day with a set of fixed cobra sazukas minus the sliding subframe. so position is set unless i unbolt it and move it, and i have no problems other than women moaning they cant fit their ass in the passenger seat.
