FK 2685 Pink

  Not a 320d
I have literally spent the past year SNEERING and turning my nose up at the sample tin of 2685 that Tim (the jew) had so kindly sent me with an order. I thought it would be total and utter s**t and hence I have left it festering.

However.

Today I did a pre sales valet/detail thing on a midnight blue 320d. The paintwork was in a total and utter s**t state as ive not been around to look after it (its a company vehicle but the owner lives elsewhere and I dont see her) and I wasnt going to machine polish it.

I went over it with AF Revive, the fist tyime ive used it actually, and that was awesome - Really brought the gloss back up.

Then went over it with this 2685 s**t as Id run out of my cheapo dodo juice.

Pretty impressed. Easy to use, beads really well and looked good, added even more depth to the paintwork. Im wondering if I should invest in some as my cheapo go to wax.

Much difference between this and FK1000?

I'd have Pete's 50/50 if it wasn't in a horrible tin.

Its like an easier to use version mate. I wouldnt say theres much in it. It also seems to give a waxed look rather than a sealant look like 1000p does. Not sure about flake rape but it seemed OK.

I quite like it actually. Like I said, hugely tempted but I just dont see when Id use it.

Indeed mate. Seems ideal for that kind of stuff.

Used it again yesterday. Its not a fast sheeting like carbon or Glasur or anything like that, but it beads great. Not sure how it compares to Natty's but Ill be reccomending it for its price range. Really easy to use. I had no issues applyin it to multiple pannels and letting it cure for a long time. Was really easy to use.
