Maximum on the rear and one turn from maximum on the front.

Upto you how much camber/toe you want to run.

And how would you like the car to handle:

1. Oversteer on the limit
2. Understeer on the limit
3. Neutral
4. Lift off oversteer on demand
5. No lift off oversteer
6. Better straight line stability
7. Better cornering stability
8. Straight line grip
9. Cornering grip

i could go on.

You run the front that stiff?

What do you mean, that stiff? It's soft as a fairy compared to what I'm used to.

lol, I think he's after a general sort of compromise which is good for a multitude of uses.

Thats my point though, he hasnt stated at any point, how he likes to the car to drive.

I like mine to oversteer all over the place, on the daily commute, doing lap 15 of a roundabout, or applying a dab of oppo through Paddock.

He might not want that.

Apologies, i should have made myself clearer. Im basically after a happy medium setup that sort of covers all bases if thats at all possible?

Dan.

I have FK Silverline X's...

I run mine very low, about half stiffness on the front, about 2/3 on the rear...

My car is an everyday car but this setup suits me fine, sometimes for passengers the back is a little bumpy but meh.

With the following set up my car with:

Understeer on the limit (which I prefer, makes controlling the car in the corners/roundabouts with the throttle quite easy)
A little lift off over steer (not masses)
Back is a little skittish on bumpy corners, but in a fun way (not uncontrollable)
Front is hard enough that I don't have to worry about too much suspension travel and smashing my bumper.

Cool. Just looking for some suggestions for me to try out really. Height wise what do you recommend(i realise its personal taste) something that looks good but doesnt comprimise everything else

Just seemed weird as I know the fk's can go reasonably stiff and thought it would give it quite a bit of understeer being that stiff. I use my fk's near on fully stiff on the rear and almost fully soft on the front, doesn't seem to feel sloppy but gives a very sharp turn in.

Out of interest what have you used before the fk's?

Height wise, mine is pretty much aesthetic, remember to set the drivers side around 5-7mm higher than the passenger, don't go setting it up all dead even.

I'm not racing, so getting my car to look good, but still just about be able to make it over speed bumps etc was my aim.

Fully stiff on the front would be mental IMO, mine are halfway (or around there) and it's quite hard, but the turn in is still good.
