I said it the other day but tonight i saw my flames myself and altho they are small they are flames. Ive been wanting them soooo much and now i can get them by just reving my car.

I said it the other day but tonight i saw my flames myself and altho they are small they are flames. Ive been wanting them soooo much and now i can get them by just reving my car.

Humm will i get flames with a 172 and 63mm supersprint(with de-cat) havent fitted it yet
mines like a sodding jet engine, the novelty wears off after a while, but like bubbles said its good fro getting people to back off a bit.
I dont seem to have to make mine do it, just does it if i go high through the revs then up a gear, and does it all the time under decelleration
Flamer kits are sad - agreed.
never worked out which are the flames though - I get loud pops and quieter burbles from my pipe and i dont know what its doing each time.
i am not a tw*t cos i dont have a flamer kit. just all that power ha ha
I hav a powerflow de-cat pipe and a peco boxer back box. When it pops it sounds like its farting and yes it really does flame
on my RT i got a CAT back system, and bloody hell my system dont half got bang when am goin for it, get it up to 5-6k then change gear tap accelerator then floor it get a massive bang but no flame, hopefully that might change once i get my de-cat for xmas and a flamer kit.
tbh flamer kits do look the dogs bollox when u see a cossie goin down the motorway then u see this fookin huge flame hangin out looks mint and it shows pure power.
ill be gettin my flamer kit just for show ne ways,

)But Im gonna have a play with the over-run mapping and see if I cant shovel a load of fuel out at say 4500rpm and see it that lights up

hmmmm i used to get loud ass pops outta my 4.5 in ktec exhaust (no flames that i know of) but i still had the cat. in
altho it only happened when at high revs and tapping the accell pedal
ive just been out in my car and my mate who was behind me said that my car was banging loud but no flame then a big flames but no noise. then i was gettin loads of little blue flames. cool
were can you get butane flamer kits from?
there some guy in the gallary that has one on his mk2 clio the blue one.. thats a reto motorsport flamer kit, ive done a search for it on google.co.uk but cant find anything ?!>

if u fit a butane kit you need a slap.
get a turbo convertion, in 3rd if i floor it, and then let off at 5krpm, i get big flames, when driving along at night on a road with no street lamps, and no cars behind u, u can look in rear view mirror and see the flames, thats with a straight through 2 1/2" system in to a carbon back box, dont really get popping or banging ne more, with my rt i used to be able to get really big bangs, drive in 2nd or 3rd, floor it to 4-5k take foot off accel and stamp on it BOOOM or just tap it for small pops and bangs. but since turbo convertion i dont half as much exhaust noise and hardly any pops, but then i get turbo screem and blitz bov woosh so im happy
