I'm not looking to make full on Flash web sites - too many around now! Just want to learn the basics on animation and how to make stuff like menus and different effects I can use.... Just something to add a bit of movement to stuff I do.

Can anyone recommend any books or web sites that'll teach me the basics and maybe some ActioScript too?
