Flashing engine light

This only seems to happen when I'm in McDonald's drive thru!

It starts flashing on its own with no change in power/performance or anything, then goes off after 5 minutes or so, or after switching the engine off and on again.

The car idles quite lumpy anyway but performs well.

Any ideas?

I had this not long ago mate. Could be water getting into the engine bay but it is most probably an injector or plug.
