flashing ext temp indicator

why when it gets really cold like here in new zealand at the moment does my ext temp indicator start flashing? does ny1 know? thx in advance.

To warn you about icy roads. It will flash at 3 degrees or lower.

Yep the clio had to go and the only way to replace it was with something with more than 250bhp

Have any of you fitted the reverse sheep proximity warning detectors .. ? I would but dont want to ruin my bumper.
