Flashing light on airbag

Theres a little light on my steering wheel for the airbag that has just started to flash and wont stop whether ignition is on or whatever. does anyone know why its flashing and what it would take to make it stop as its driving me mad lol

it could be the seatbelt pre-tentioner plug undernieth the seat
dislodged or something

Check cables under passenger seat, moving the seat back and forward normally causes this problem.

yeah tried all that its not the warning light on the dash its a light inside the steering wheel its self

how old is the car? is it the valver?

some older airbags had there own battery to set off the discharge. maybe these have a light to warn you the battery is defective.

its 95 valver im thinking its the bat as well but wanna be sure first

like jay172 is saying time for a new airbag battery fitted on the steering inside the steering wheel



air bags and pretensioners plus the firing batterys should be changed every 10 yrs - but people dont due to the large cost

pretensioners were 79 each i think that was 4 yrs ago
