Flat blade edges....

Just got some fleabay specials and I've noticed the edges of the blade dont make contact with the windscreen on the edges at various points.

Will this happen with all flat blades due to the curvature of the screen or is this a problem with the blade?

In short, yes. If you use the standard fit 21" blades there will always be a small part that doesn't touch the screen at the end of the blade. However, I have read that using a larger blade - 22" - cures this issue to some extent. It's probably not worth replacing, new, perfectly usable blades just for this. Maybe keep it in mind for when you next change?
