flat spot and trouble starting

Any ideas what it could be? Symptoms are: struggles to start when cold, sometimes stalls at lights, and if I don't change gear quickly enough it will bog down noticeably. Power is fine when ragging though. I'm thinking either crankshaft sensor or dephaser. Am I thinking on the right lines or anything else obvious?will change Crankshaft sensor tomorrow so hopefully I can rule that out thenn. Cheers

Answering my own post like a saddo but the issue turned out to me my coilpack. On a more spirited drive the car was undriveabl, misfired hugely and stalled constantly. After replacing the coilpack the problem was solved. Hope this helps others with the same symptoms.
