Flat Spot, Fuel Pump + Radiator Fan...

Not my car, just posting on behalf of someone else. This is a 182.

When ignition is turned on to position 2, the fuel pump starts (like it should), but dosent go off, like it normally would. It just keeps on whirring and whirring and whirring indefinately.

Then, when you start the engine, the idle is pretty weak, but will hold. Within 10 secs of the car running (weather it be completely cold start, or after its been driven) the fan cuts in on the radiator (low speed mode). The fan will then stay on all the time, even when you turn the engine off, get out the car, lock it and walk away, the fan will run for upto 30 mins!

Also....When the car gets to 3k revs while driving, there is a huge flatspot and no power, loads of backfiring (like loads of over-fuelling). Although, if you rev it when its stood still, it will rev up and down fine....

No idea what this could be, especially the fan issue! Its been plugged into RS Tuner, and there are no fault codes present on that.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Relays got wet/damaged/broke fan and ignition start (coil and fuel pump prime are next to each other)

Try the relays from yours

Fuel pump could be shot, not making full pressure hence why its running full stop and is flat. Fan, pass.

I thought the constant noise was normal, mine does it?!? Jord would a quick sesh on the rollers bring up the AFR and see what that says.
Any idea if the coolant and coolant sensor is fine, might be something to do with the fan
