Flat Spot

Seem to be getting a flat spot at 2500 rpm in 2nd and 3rd gear...

Only really noticed it when the engines cold, is this normal when cold?

The car idles fine normally, occasionally will flutter a bit 2-300 rpm

sounds like it need a bit of refreshing. Throttle body clean up, maybe a new temp sensor, and some spark plugs for certain

guy i bought it off said he had just had a new TB fitted!

Ill get the park plugs out tomorrow, if they don't look good then may give me an excuse to service it!

Your Front Oxygen sensor is suspicious as well. Especially when the car is used for short trips they tend to age quickly.

Checked the plugs today, all seem like they have normal OK wear apart from plug 4 which weirdly had some rust around by where the nut is!


Also noticed the air feed to my IK was wedged between the battery and body work resulting in a nasty hole and rips! - So took that off and tapped up for now, relocated feed next to Rad, not the best place but shouldn't get ripped there....

Think it's time for a good service
