flat tyre at the weekend

hi,

i was coming back from coventry on the 3 mile long straight back to my town of kenilworth.
i was at the traffic lights and this saxo vts behind was giving it loads with his music blasting lol i floored it away from the traffic lights and heard a bang but my brother said it was all the cds in the glovebox
i kept speeding up overtaking cars and once i started slowing down the car was pulling to the left.
once i entered my town i pulled window down and there it was front left tyre flat as anything


i got out and a bastad massive industrial nail was stuck in the tyre
so it was jacked up on my drive all weekend
cost me £246 for 2 brand new front tyres

was just wondering what prices u 172/182 have been priced for new tyres

haha im sorry mate but youve been stung big time! thats the price it cost me for all 4 including fitting! and they were toyo t1-rs

best and cheapest place for tyres is www.mytyres.co.uk free delivery aswell, and if your after toyo t1-rs theres a guy on ebay selling 2 for £100.00, although i think there still cheaper on the above site.

What 2 tyres can possible cost that much then mate? what have you go on?

2 new tyres and fitting shouldnt have been anymore than £150 - £180 dependant on what tyres you had but even that price accounts for 2 really good tyres, youve been ripped off big time by well over £70

well got quoted £95 a tyre without fitting but had to wait for them to come in so went to my local one called 'just tyres' and yeah robbing bastads.to be fair i just wanted my car back on the road

Brittania Tyres in Covare quite cheap, u wud have got a bragin from them.

Replacement PE'2 W's on mytyres are around £90 arent they? Thats without fitting, so from a local fitter your probably looking at around £200 minimum.

So you didnt get done that badly.

Im at the new Richo arena... by the Big Tesco.
