Flat Tyre

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR only done 2000 miles in my 182 and someone told me i had a flat tyre, Bloody great big 6 inch screw in it !!!!!



Just took it to Elite and they repaired it thought i was in for a expensive week, just got back from cornwall from spending loads .. apparently the store man where i work normally goes around in the morning removing screws and nails from the car park that the builders drop!!!! should of made the company paid for a new tyre .. it better not happen again, next time i dont think i will be so lucky getting away with a repair

no i never my work store man pumped it up and it held out until i got to the tyre place, i went to a specialist and they still would of had to order them, so im lucky they fixed it my nearest renault garage is one hour from my work



that foam is crap anyway used it with my cooper s

You were lucky you could get yours repaired. I tore the inside tyre wall on mine after jusk over 2000 miles and had to buy a brand new one from Renault - ouch!

I am gonna keep a little pump in the boot of mine so that I dont have to mess my wheel up with that foam s**t.

Nine times out of ten a puncture is slow enough so that you can pump some air in and get to the nearest garage.

i have a pressure pump kinda thing at home, its really small and fits in a little box, 15cm x 15xm i would say

anyway u plug it in ciggy lighter and it pumps up the tyre, quite fast aswel, use it on bike tyres aswel as the slow puncture i have on me drivers side tyre cant of cost 2 much cos me nan got it 4 me

I was just gonna get one of those £4.99 foot pumps from Argos.

cant remember now m8, will have name of company at home, prob sumin stupid like byrite, foot pumps prob just as gd and easier 2 just get out rather than pissin about with the wire out the window

I reckon the foot pump will be as good. Just wondering how to secure it in the boot so that it doesnt keep flying around as you take corners.

Buy 1 of those trays what fits under the parcel shelf from renault. Thats what i did, just rights for odds and sods like that.
