  Clio MK2 (1.2)
i only payed £50 for mine new from halfords when i passed my test last year, and still going strong now,

  Mk2 Ph1 Clio Sport 1.4
I have an FLI sub which lasted too, but would not recommend it, very hit and miss build quality, not good sound quality either. Maybe fork out a tad more for something better and you will not be disappointed.

iv got one in my car, cant fault it, obviously there are better ones on the market but if you have some good comps in the front, the subs all do the same thing. cant have one too loud anyway, even mine shakes the clio body panels loads and everything loose inside the car.

Aren't they made by Vibe? Vibe are normally ok, not the best by any means, but generally ok I thought. I had one and never had any probs.

cheap and cheerful

FLi are ok but there are better subs for the money you could have JL audio or jbls for that money and at the moment jbl / jl have a lot of bang for buck,

  clio 172,astra 1.6, rs125
ive got one with the amp built in and i thinks its great, used to have a jbl amp and 12" jbl sub and the fli sounds miles better

I bought a 12" Loaded Fli sub a year ago. The bass was good, but it was quite distorted in places. It also made the Clio vibrate really bad like a tin filled with biscuits. My headunit kept cutting out when it had that sub in the boot :S, since i've had the 10" JBL it's been fine.

It's very durable if you get the same sub as I had. I had a car accident a while back and rolled the car, and it wasn't held down and it survived it and didn't even get a scratch on it.

Go on car audio centre right...... go to there deals page, and buy for 99 quid....1x 12" sony the box, wiring and amp, i think thats a quality deal. I know how people don't like sony but as a starter set they really arent to bad if you amp and box them correctly....good luck with your decision

  Clio 1.2 16v
Do you really think that, have you ever heard them yourself mate? Please don't just say it just because its the opinion of most people. True in comparision to kicker stuff say, they don't stand a chance. But i think as a start to get everything you need for 99 quid is really good.

mate i know what im talking about, listen to some proper audio then go back to your sony:rolleyes:

p.s. i give advice not follow the bandwagon like you clearly have

i know as you say, i don't doubt you know what your talking about. All i am saying is, that for the guys price range to get everything he could need is pretty good value for money.
