flip dvd player in mk1?

Yes, just make sure the screen can be adjusted properly.

there is a tilt feature in order to adjust the angle

yeah it will be fine i got one of those you looking at and the tilt range on it is massive they are a nightmare to fit though i had to take the top of the dash out to fit mine in my mk2 as there are so many cables

alrite mate, ive got a flip up dvd player in mine i had to make a few mods and even mine tilts but they still wont fit in at the bottom of the mk1 there a nightmare we had to make an insert which was shaped as a 1 din slot and put it in as my pictures show in my post have a look bud
