fluttering light on clock

my problem is, when ever I turn my lights on the clock dims but then goes a bit nuts and fashes dimmed then bright kinds like a disco light. Any ideas on a fix?

Lose bulb or on its way out? Have to take the top of the dash off to replace them though

Forgot to say if the lights are left off the clock light has no problems. How is the dimmed light dif from the normal light. Wld guess it's the same bulb. Shouldn't be a problem gettin the dash off, but what type of bulbs are they.

Ok, ive now changed the bulbs in the dash, but now we have an even more strange problem.

When i turn the lights on, the clock dimms, but now if a press the foot brake it goes bright again.

I was thinking some type of earth fault mabey? Any ideas as it is quite off putting
although i did have fun at the light gettin it 2 blink off an on to the music hehe
