Shiny. First time I used clay and I went through two bars doing the entire car! The result is brilliant.

So used:

AG Pressure Washer detergent as foam
AG Shampoo
AG SRP
AG Fast Glass
Megs clay kit.

It was fookin' cold mind. The water around the car turned into Ice and I fell over :( twice.

It looks clean :)

No pics of you falling :(

You shouldn't of needed that much clay tbh, especially on such a new car.

Both bars where just black either side when I finished! And thats after a real tough polish too.

It's used 99.9% of the time on dirty backroads so it really collects the muck!

Shiney indeed. I need to get mine washed. It's a total disgrace.

Well its about 7 months old now :) But yeah even after just throwing a bucket over it, it looks shiney.

Jack Wills hoody :) Now has polish on it

So you didnt tear off chunks to use? I would look at using between 1/6th and a 1/3rd of a bar in my hand at a time, and when its getting dirty you should just kneed it in your hand.

I did a Rover 75 (my dads) and my old grande Punto using just 1/3rd of a bar, and the Rover hadnt been cleaned in nearly 2 years and had never been detailed since it was new and was 6 years old! So basically, you just threw away some money. lol

Meh! Was my first time using clay anyway

My Mrs has been getting in and her bag has scratched the side skirt on the passenger side :(. Luckily, it polished out. Plus there is a stone chip on the roof, a few on the front and one on the drivers door. Along with a chip of plastic in the rub strips gone where someone has opened there door on me.

Oh, and on the back there is a tiny scuff on the bumper where someone has hit it with something or a car. :(

The start of more chips and scuffs tbh, soon you'll be past caring.

Done it a bit wrong. Wash car first, then clay, wash, then polish, seal, wax.

...and using two bars to clay the car will become expensive

Jasons obviously not that retaded.

As mentoned though, just use like a third of half a bar, and then fold the clay when it gets dirty.

off topic but looks like renault didnt bother lacquering the side strips much like they did on the 172 cups?

did we establish in here which order you did things? or was the order in the title the order you used?
